Student and Technician Training Programme: Aquatic Animal Health Manager (AGR/Q4911)
The Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, has sanctioned the DBT Skill Vigyan program in biotechnology and Life Sciences, which will be executed in Kerala through the Kerala Biotechnology Commission, KSCSTE. KBC, KSCSTE is collaborating with 15 state academic and research institutions to provide student training, technician training, and faculty training programs.
The student and technician training programs will offer a three-month, hands-on, stipendiary training experience to individuals at the entry level, including Plus 2 students, graduates, and postgraduates, specializing in various biotechnology fields.
These programs have been developed in collaboration with four prominent sector skill councils under the Government of India’s purview: the Life Science Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC), Agriculture Skill Council of India (ASCI), Food Industry Capacity and Skill Initiative (FICSI), and Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC).The curriculum for these programs is in alignment with the Qualification Packages (QPs) established by the sector skill councils, which are tailored to meet industry requirements.
NCAAH offers a three month Certification Programme on Aquatic Animal Health Manager (AGR/Q4911) under the aegis of the Student and Technician Training Programme under DBT Skill Vigyan Programme Kerala 2023.
Total Intake : 20 students
Monthly Stipend : Rs. 5000/-
Eligibility: Bachelor’s Degree in Aquaculture
