Genomics-driven discovery and biosynthetic pathway elucidation of natural products from marine Actinomycetes
The study aims to discover novel bioactive metabolites from marine Actinomycetes through genome analysis followed by targeted isolation of compounds. Biosynthetic gene clusters are identified using antiSMASH and other bioinformatic tools which are then induced for the production of their respective metabolites using different methods.
